Hi @Kingthorn128,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

A "Secure Boot Violation" typically indicates a problem with the system's boot configurations, likely related to BIOS settings or recent changes in the system.

Here’s how you can troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

Enter BIOS/UEFI settings:

  • Restart your computer and immediately press the appropriate key to enter BIOS or UEFI settings. Common keys include F2, F10, F12, or Delete, depending on your HP computer model.

Disable Secure Boot:

  • Once in the BIOS settings, look for the option labeled "Secure Boot".

  • Set "Secure Boot" to Disabled. This can be found under a Security or Boot tab.

Enable Legacy Support:

  • You might also find an option for "Legacy Support". If available, enable Legacy Support to allow the computer to boot older operating systems or hardware that isn’t compatible with Secure Boot.

Save Changes and Exit:

  • After making these changes, ensure you save the changes, typically by selecting "Save Changes & Exit".

Reboot:

  • Reboot your system and see if the issue is resolved.

Please help us with the Product serial number or the product number in a private message for further assistance.
