I tried asking this before but in my explaination was marked as spam. So here's a short version. My brand new out of the box Pavillion either refuses to boot, boots EXTREMELY slowly, or both (yes, I had a video but I'm not reposting the link). The apps are not responsive in any way and it even refuses to shut down. Al I can figure is that this is a factory defect as it has never been connected to the internet. Any ideas why this is happening?

I guess I was right to assume no one believes me. I don't have the money or the time to go to Geek Squad. I'll just wait for my response from Amazon. I'm not even sure they'll do a refund. I honestly don't know what else to do.

A brand new PC should not do what your PC is doing.

 

Return to seller for an exchange or a refund.
