Product: HP Z2 G9 Workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
I have just got off phone call with a HP tech. He told me that the reason my boot takes too long is because of my USB docking station hub attached. He said I need to unplug it before booting, and plug it back in after windows opens. Not the most convenient work around. With the hub attached the PC hangs on a black screen for more than an hour before it goes to Windows.
I have 10 hard drives connected to the hub/docking station. I can see these drives in bios.
Is there a way for me to remove these drives in Bios or Booting sequence so they are skipped when booting? Or at least not try to boot from them?
Thank you,
Radim
