My new desktop takes 45 seconds from the time I wake it up to be able to log in.  It is brand new.  I have tried disabling start ups not needed, but that didn't work.

Greetings @kenrat

Do you have an AMD PC?

Some AMD systems will do slow startups because of memory training.

I have an AMD 670E MB and a Ryzen 7900X. This PC takes around the same time (44 seconds) to startup when overclocking the memory.

The PC starts up in about 9 seconds when the memory is not overclocked.

I've never been able to solve this problem other than not using EXPO. But sadly, turning off EXPO results in slower memory speed and timings.

No, this is a brand new All in One with Intel Core I5.

Greetings @kenrat

I think a 45 second startup time or wake from sleep times on a brand new PC is somewhat lengthy. Are you only connecting: a mouse and keyboard to the PC?

Connecting additional USB peripherals to the PC could cause slow wake from sleep times.

Input your HP PC's product number or the serial number at this Site to check for a BIOS update.

BIOS updates can sometimes correct unusual performance issues.
