I recently encountered bsod while restarting my hp 15-d laptop. After that it gave boot error as os is not installed. Then I tried installing windows using usb drive but no partitions were shown on install screen.
After that I assumed my hdd had dies so I bought a crucial 500 gb P3 SSD , installed it, installed windows. Everything worked fine and guess what my hdd partitions also apeared on file manager.
Than I tried shutdown the system but was not shutting down, insted it just sign out every time I tried.
Then I tried a command shutdown /s /f 0 something like that, and system gets shut down. But when I restarted the system, it is giving error "no bootable device - insert bootable device......".
I checked boot menu, and SSD was not detected there. In bios -> boot option SSD is not detected there. But when I diagnose my system and do hard drive check it shows nvme SSD.
Please help
