Product: HP Pavilion 590-p0091na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
On start up, a blue window appears stating that the CMOS Checksum is invalid, that the PC will be restarted using defaults, & requesting that
Enter be tapped to restart. The message also states that, afterwards, the BIOS should be checked for changes.
After this restart, everything runs normally following entry of Windows Hello PIN.
What is the cause of this problem, how do you check BIOS, what sort of changes on BIOS are you supposed to be looking for, & what do you
do about it?
