Hi @Ntfd17
Welcome to the HP Forum.
This symptom, unfortunately, suggest a corrupt boot loader.
However, run HP Diagnostics at startup to verify the drive and other components are okay.
Start the PC. Tap "ESC".
Select "F2". Run system and component tests.
I have tried all boot loader recovery options I could find online but always wound up having to back up data and reinstall the operating system.
I removed the system drive. Connected this drive to a different PC as a data drive. Copied data from the corrupted system drive to the host PC or removable media connected to the host PC.
I have eliminated this issue by using Drive imaging software. I routinely create system backups on external media. It takes about 10 minutes to get back to computing when I have a Windows problem or a hardware failure.
Check this YouTube video on how to fix a corrupted boot loader. I haven't tried this but it looks promising. Will give it a try the next time I have a boot loader problem.
Google how to fix a corrupted UEFI boot loader if you want to try other options.
