HP Pavilion Gaming PC

I was in the process of updating any new updates for my pc and I came across an option to update bios which I didn’t know anything about. As I updated the bios when it came to boot up the pc to finalize the installation process. I saw a black screen and when I touch a key like the space bar it showed me information about my pc, and on the bottom it says press the esc key for start up menu. So I press the esc key and on the bottom right it says startup menu. I have not seen the startup menu for over 20 minutes it could be more than an 1 hour plus and the screen will stay the same. I know my keyboard and mouse is working but why when I press the esc key or f9 it’s stuck. And I also tried the methods from this forum none which have worked for me and I had this pc for almost 3 years and it’s way out of its warranty. So I need a big help.

HI @ke231

Welcome to the HP Forum.

You might be able to recover the BIOS using a HP, USB BIOS recovery boot drive.

You would have to provide a specific Product Number to check if this option is available for your MB.
