HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000i (1K4B7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have been getting this screen when I start my computer now. I can't pinpoint it to any update I have installed. After hitting ESC, it proceed to boot up normally. Does anyone know how to get rid of this screen? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing various drivers. I updated the BIOS via HP PC Hardware Dianogstics.

Hi

This is unusual. Are you in warranty?

The serial number and the build ID are missing. The missing serial number may cause warranty problems. You should be able to check the serial number using purchase documentation.

Did you replace the system board? Something (possibly the latest BIOS update) has corrupted the OEM BIOS configurable ROM regions. The BIOS update would occur using HP Support Assistant, a manual BIOS update, or a HP firmware update offered by Windows Update,

You would have to contact HP https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact/help/desktop to correct this.

I am no longer in warranty. It expired in December. I removed the information on serial number and build ID.

I haven't opened the desktop at all. I was having this issue prior to trying to update my BIOS.

I was on the phone with Costco's tech support since I purchased my machine through them and they were walking me through some troubleshooting steps. None of them helped as they did not exist as options in the BIOS menu. I went to the Exit tab and hit Save and Apply Changes. Oddly enough, the screen in my screenshot above went away. I tested this by restarting my computer to see how it would boot up and the screen did not appear.

Hi

All is good if the PC is working okay and you are out of warranty.
