HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-1022
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer boots into GNU GRUB 2.02 screen with the following options

Debian GNU/Linux

Advanced options for Debian GNU/Linux

System setup

When I try to change the boot disk using BIOS, it shows

Boot device not found(3F0)

I bought this computer online and it's supposed to be new and come with windows 10 pro

Please help me fix this and boot windows.

(Note: the Linux OS doesn't boot either. It gets stuck in blinking cursor screen.)

Hello @pcvsmac1

Linux was installed on your computer and GRUB (linux boot manager) is installed in the masterboot sector of your drive, so it is not easy to remove and recover the windows boot loader.

Quick solution:

- Boot from USB drive containing Live Linux ( for example ubuntu )

- Choose to install ubuntu and to keep your windows partition(s), so ubuntu will resize your parition(s)

- The Grub Loader will be updated so it can boot both (windows and linux)

Advanced Solution(s):
