Hi @Antho10271

It sounds like your HP EliteDesk 705 G4 Desktop Mini PC might be experiencing a boot-up issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Check Power Connection:

    • Ensure that the power cable is securely connected to both the PC and the power outlet.
    • Verify that the power outlet is functional by testing it with another device.
  2. Perform a Hard Reset:

    • Unplug the power cord from the PC.
    • Press and hold the power button on the front of the PC for about 15 seconds to discharge any residual power from the capacitors.
    • Reconnect the power cord and attempt to power on the PC again.
  3. Monitor Connection:

    • Check if the monitor is properly connected to the PC.
    • Ensure the monitor is powered on and its power indicator is lit.
    • Try a different monitor or cable to rule out display issues.
  4. Check for BIOS Errors:

    • Power on the PC and listen for any beep codes during the boot-up process. These codes can indicate specific hardware issues.
  5. Re-seat Internal Components:

    • If comfortable, carefully open the PC case and re-seat the RAM modules, ensuring they are properly clicked into the slots.
    • Ensure all internal cables are securely connected.
  6. BIOS Recovery:

    • Boot into the BIOS Setup Utility by powering on the computer and repeatedly pressing F10 until the setup utility opens.
    • Restore BIOS settings to default and exit by saving changes.
  7. External Devices:

    • Disconnect all non-essential external devices like USB drives, external hard disks, and printers, then try booting again.

If the problem persists after trying these steps and there's no display output (the screen remains black), there may be a deeper hardware issue requiring professional repair assistanc
