Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My system stopped working after an update. All I get is a black screen with a turning circle. Tried literally all suggestions from youtube. Finally got it to boot in safe mode and tried several options, no help. Finally tried to restore, but system is asking for my Administrator password. I have no idea. Tried all combos that I have ever used. No help. Any suggestions would help thanks.

I do not know what your have tried.

You can enable the default (hidden or disabled) administrator account as described here

https://www.winhelponline.com/blog/enable-built-in-administrator-windows-10-recovery-options-advance...

at step (5) you might want to set a password

net user administrator <make up a password>

sanity check:  Did the update ever finish?  some updates may take a long time and if you reset the computer the update process may think the update failed and will try another, and another and etc....  After 30-40 minutes of watching the circling blips it is likely something is actually wrong.  Major (feature) updates such as 21h1 or h2 can take a while and on a slow computer may look like the system is hung.
