Hi @GauravDomble

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like you're facing a frustrating issue with the TPM 2.0 module on your HP Pavilion 15-ec2000 laptop. Even though TPM is enabled in the BIOS, the system isn't recognizing it, which can prevent certain applications like Valorant from running.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and resolve this problem:

Step 1: Verify TPM Status in Windows

  1. Press Windows + R, type tpm.msc, and press Enter.
  2. Check if the TPM module is listed and its status is "Ready for use."
    • If it’s not listed, proceed to the next steps.

Step 2: Enable Hidden Devices in Device Manager

  1. Open Device Manager (search for it in the Start menu).
  2. Click View > Show hidden devices.
  3. Expand Security Devices and check if Trusted Platform Module 2.0 is listed.
    • If it’s not listed, try adding it manually:
      • Go to Action > Add Legacy Hardware.
      • Select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list and look for TPM 2.0.

Step 3: Update BIOS

  1. Visit the HP Support page for your laptop model.
  2. Download and install the latest BIOS update.
  3. Restart your laptop and check if the TPM issue is resolved.

Step 4: Clear TPM in BIOS

  1. Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing Esc, F10, or Del during startup).
  2. Locate the TPM Configuration or Security section.
  3. Select Clear TPM and confirm the action.
  4. Save changes and exit the BIOS.

Step 5: Reset Windows Security Settings

  1. Open Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security.
  2. Go to Device Security > Security Processor Details > Security Processor Troubleshooting.
  3. Reset the TPM from this menu.

Step 6: Reinstall Windows

If the issue persists, there may be a deeper software conflict. Reinstalling Windows can help:

  1. Back up your important data.
  2. Use the Windows Media Creation Tool to create a bootable USB drive.
  3. Perform a clean installation of Windows 11.
