periodically ill get a thermal warning notifications saying system needs to shutdown to prevent damage to the system, error reading cpu fan. I keep a very watchful eye on all the system temp readings and never seen it reach above 40 C. Worth mentioning I did upgrade the stock fan for a AIO liquid cooling system. In all there is the AIO for the CPU and 2 case fans.

Thanks for any advice..

@mkrude -- error reading cpu fan

The "stock" fan was feeding-back to the motherboard its current RPM (revolutions per minute).

Did you replace this fan? Is it feeding-back some value (temperature of the water?), or is it not?

Is the water getting hot? 90 to 100 Celsius?

Monitor the temperature every 15 minutes, up to the time that you get the message. Any trend of increasing temperature?
