Product: HP Pavilion p6-2220t CTO Desktop PC

My computer couldn't download updates so I tried all the options I could find, recently resorting to resetting the computer completely.  It still fails to be able to start Windows, but I lost all the previous info with the reset.  I don't know how to get it to work now without the password.

Hi @DrSSB 

 

This Forum can't assist with password problems.

 

You reset or reinstalled Windows so you will lose data contained in the previous installation. You may have a BIOS password problem.

 

I always record all passwords and keep the passwords in a safe place in case they are needed for situations such as this.
