Unable to access Bios

Trying to access the BIOs on boot without success.

Tried the following:

+ Hitting functions keys on boot (F1-F12) and Del key

+ disabled the fast boot option under the power management feature in the control panel

+ reboot with **bleep** + restart and choose startup settings

+ reboot through the recovery advanced options

None of those work.

Can any one help?

Hi,

If you can tap the ESC key repeatedly fast enough you might be able to catch the BIOS menu.

Hold down the shift key and then do a restart.  Then Troubleshoot---->Advanced options---->UEFI firmware settings -->Restart

You probably have Fast Boot enabled in the BIOS.  Very common issue if enabled. I have to use the above procedure.

Worst case is that you might have to clear the CMOS.

The problem was that I had a graphics card so the screen would only turn on after windows booted.

When I removed the card I could see the screen and hitting f8 got me into the bios
