Hi @azeemalvi1 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.\

If you're unable to boot from a USB drive on your HP Pavilion 15-0067nf, despite the BIOS detecting both the NVMe drive and the USB, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take:

Check USB Port and Cable: Ensure that you are using a functional USB port and a working USB cable. Try connecting the USB drive to different USB ports on your laptop.

USB Format: Make sure the USB drive is properly formatted with the correct file system. The recommended format for a Windows installation USB is FAT32. You can use a tool like Rufus to create a bootable USB drive with the correct settings.

Secure Boot and Legacy/UEFI Mode: Check your BIOS settings for Secure Boot and Legacy/UEFI mode. Some systems require Secure Boot to be disabled to boot from external devices. Also, try switching between Legacy and UEFI boot modes to see if that resolves the issue.

Boot Order: Ensure that the USB drive is set as the first boot option in the BIOS. You may need to navigate to the Boot Order or Boot Priority section in the BIOS and prioritize the USB drive.

USB Device Priority: Some systems have a specific setting for USB device priority. Make sure that USB devices are enabled and prioritized in the BIOS.

BIOS/UEFI Update: Check if there is a BIOS/UEFI update available for your laptop. Sometimes, updates include improvements in hardware compatibility and boot issues.

USB Drive Compatibility: Try using a different USB drive. Some USB drives may not be recognized properly by certain systems.

Recreate Bootable USB: If the USB drive was created using a tool that allows for persistent storage (like UNetbootin), try recreating the bootable USB using a tool like Rufus.

Reset BIOS to Default: In some cases, resetting the BIOS/UEFI settings to default may help. This can often be done within the BIOS/UEFI menu.

Check for NVMe Driver: Ensure that the necessary NVMe drivers are included in the Windows installation. Some installations may require additional drivers for NVMe SSDs. Check the HP website for specific drivers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
