HP Recommended

I have a HP elite disc 8 00 g1usdt. I was in the process of updating the screen went completely black there's a small blinking white line on the upper left hand side. Operating system Windows 10 pro. I am a novice when it comes to computers . I've tried to look up some stuff HP keeps telling me the serial number is not right but it is I mean it's right there on the metal not even a sticker it's in the middle printed on it. I guess it was originally like a company PC. The serial number ends in yrr the product number ends in aba is the date on the inside on the DVD writer it says 2015. Windows 10 pro. Any help would be appreciated. I don't have any type of backup USB or anything like that thank you
