HP Recommended

trying to install trunas on a HP Compaq elite 8300 and when trying to boot into the usb drive it loses power and I can't boot into it (it has a led) the connected keyboard doesn't lose power and the usb drive stays powered off untill unplugged an replugged or when computer is restarted can't even boot into the installer just turns off instantly already tried 2 other drives plz help
