Hi.
Our computers have two displays, one connected to VGA and other to one of the DipslayPort. We want that the VGA display as the "first" display when trying to enter the BIOS or booting from DVD's or USB. Currenty, when the two displays are connected only DisplayPort shows graphics and there is no signal on VGA display.
How can we solve it?

Is the VGA port "integrated" on the motherboard?
If it is, and it is "disabled" within BIOS SETUP, do you have an "add-in" graphics-adapter, with both a VGA port and a DisplayPort?
While Windows is running, right-mouse-button-click anywhere on your "wallpaper", and choose "screen resolution".
Windows may show that two monitors have been detected. Correct?

The HP8300 has three integrated ports, one VGA and one DisplayPort. The VGA is directly connected to a display and one DisplayPort uses a DP-DVI adapter to other display.
While in Windows there are no problem, both display are detected. The problem is "before" Windows.

What is the third port?

OK.
Power-off the computer.
Power-on the computer, and enter BIOS SETUP.
There should be a BIOS option to designate either port as the "primary" output.
