Hi @Anuj12345,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Let's try a few troubleshooting steps we consider a repair or replacement.

Adjust Power Settings:

  • Open Windows Settings: Click on the Start menu and select Settings.
  • Go to System > Power & Battery.
  • Adjust the power settings to Battery Saver or Balanced mode, which will reduce battery consumption.

Optimize Battery Usage:

  • Battery Saver: Enable Battery Saver mode when your laptop is running on battery.
    • Open Settings > System > Power & Battery.
    • Under Battery, enable Battery Saver.
  • Background Apps: Disable unnecessary background apps.
    • Open Settings > Privacy > Background apps.
    • Turn off background apps that you don't need.

Disable Unnecessary Start-Up Programs:

  • Task Manager: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  • Go to the Startup tab and disable programs that you don't need starting automatically.

Update System Drivers:

Update Windows:

  • Make sure your Windows operating system is up-to-date.
  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates.

Adjust Display Brightness:

  • Lower the screen brightness to conserve battery.
  • You can adjust the brightness by pressing Windows + A and then adjusting the slider.

Manage Gaming Settings:

  • High-performance gaming can drain the battery quickly.
  • Consider playing games on lower settings when running on battery, or plug in your laptop while gaming for better performance.

Check Battery Health:

  • Conduct a battery health check to see if the battery needs replacement.
  • You can use HP's diagnostics tool for battery health check.
    • Open HP Support Assistant > My Notebook > Battery Check.

Let me know how it goes.
