The power outage and subsequent restoration of power could have taken out your external power supply and/or other components.
You would have to replace parts to find the bad component or have a local PC Tech take a look.
I don't think a standard HP warranty would cover this. Check the fine print for details.

Exactly the same experience. We had two outages and I must not have unplugged my computer during at least one them that was very short. I have also noticed surging electrical current in the course of two severe storms. After one outage my HP 24-g227c all in one started normally but without warning the screen went black and all power indicator lights immediately went out. I have had no opportunity to verify that the external power supply is the problem, and for this I must have a local tech trouble-shoot it.
