We had a power outage on Saturday! And now my HP all in one desktop will not power on

Hi @35Kimmy

The power outage and subsequent restoration of power could have taken out your external power supply and/or other components.

You would have to replace parts to find the bad component or have a local PC Tech take a look.

I don't think a standard HP warranty would cover this. Check the fine print for details.

Exactly the same experience.  We had two outages and I must not have unplugged my computer during at least one them that was very short. I have also noticed surging electrical current in the course of two severe storms.  After one outage my  HP 24-g227c  all in one started normally but without warning the screen went black and all power indicator lights immediately went out.  I have had no opportunity to verify that the external power supply is the problem, and for this I must have a local tech trouble-shoot it.
