HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-1114
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Boot device not found on HP Pavilion Desktop TP1-1114 when starting up.  This happened randomly.  No physical damage noted (cable connections checked internally).  Created a Windows Operating recovery tool using a USB flash drive with help from the AI HP assistant.

After creating the USB flash drive recovery tool (downloading the recovery tool from Microsoft onto a new flash drive and going through the boot process, received the following message:

The BIOS recovery files cannot be found, or the files are corrupted

Application closed (NO HDD) and system turned off

Any thoughts on how to get the BIOS to detect the SSD?

Reseat your windows drive properly. If issue remains them try CMOS battery reset.

Reseating the SSD did not work.  Can I assume the SSD is corrupt and needs to be replaced?

Sorry for the late reply. At the start, you said the BIOS recovery file was not found. Because of that, it is hard to confirm the exact fault. If you know any trusted technician or professional in your area, then please take their help. If an HP-authorized service center is nearby, you should also contact them.

I had to replace the SSD and reinstall Windows 10.  All is working.

Thanks for the suggestions
