Where is Video Memory located, hardwired on motherboard or removable DIMMs?

The video memory is part of the on board system memory unless you have added a graphics card.  If the system is running OK then the test results are possibly wrong. This system was designed for windows 7 and 8 and possibly the test is failing because of windows 10.

 

Your motherboard looks like the following and has a number of the old type of electrolytic capacitors

Please examine your motherboard for signs of bad capacitor examples are here.

Also look for the name of the motherboard.  It could be cupertino2 or IPISB-Cu or a 4 digit code

Please run msinfo and report the following: bios version, date and baseboard product.

You can use the windows key plus shift plus "S" to capture part of the display and post back here.

Thanks for your help.  I have the motherboard you specfied.  The poblems is the display sometimes becomes unresponsive for a few minutes, then it is OK.

I have a spare motherboard I will install.
