I just changed my HDD to new SSD. My screen keep going to sleep and I cant see any display other than “Monitor Going to Sleep”. Please help me. Thank you

OK, I understand you swapped an SSD for an HDD -- something I have also done numerous times, without issue.

 

But HOW did you get Windows onto the new SSD? 

 

Did you use a utility to MIGRATE it from the HDD to the SSD -- what I do because it keeps everytihing intact -- the logins, passwords, settings, applications, and personal data.

 

Or did you do a new install -- which keeps nothing.

 

And if you did the install from media created from a Microsoft download, you most likely lost all of the HP drivers as well.  Which could be why it will not start with the new SSD in place.
