Microsoft Windows 11

Hello Forum members,

I received the above error. After searching in forums, I did the following:

1. Downloaded bootable install on USB

2. In BIOS setting changes the Boot order to have 'Boot from USB' on top

3. Restarted machine.

4. Get the Windows setup, selected Custom install, as Upgrade option is not available.

5. The 'Installing Windows' pop-up screen goes through 'Copying Windows Files', Getting files ready for installation'

, system reboots and shows me HP logo.

6. Get "Secure Boot error", Invalid Signature detected. Check Secure Boot Policy in setup.

Please advice how do I fix this.

1. Options to fix Windows OS

2. Has my Hard disk crashed/corrupted? and I need to purchase and reinstall Windows on new HD?

My BIOS details are as follows:

Born on date: 01/03/2020

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dear HP Experts,

Requesting for your help.

Additional updates:

As the BIOS was not current, I went through the process of BIOS update, the desktop BIOS Revision is 843B vF.51, BIOS date 09/06/2023.

After the BIOS update, Windows OS did not come up.

I then changes the boot order to USB and used the media install option. It went through steps of Copying Windows files, Getting files ready for installation, Installing features, Installing update (screenshot below). Did a Restart and got the red screen (screenshot below).
