Microsoft Windows 11

I need to make a disc clone to replace my SSD with a larger device.   I am trying to use Acronis True Image Bootable Disc.  I have configured my HP for USB boot. It is the top item on the list, it is enabled.  I have tried to use the Acronis Bootable on another machine and it booted as expected.

I wasn't sure about Secure Boot so I disabled it (I also disabled BitLocker).

If the USB drive is inserted before I boot, I cannot get into the BIOS - it always goes straight to Windows (after a lengthy delay).

This is an HP Elite Mini 800 G9 Desktop.  I am running Win 11 Pro.  It will also NOT boot from a Win 11 USB.

Greetings @Charlie_Balogh

Welcome back to the Forum.

I can't provide a fix because a licensed version of Acronis should seamlessly do a clone outside of the operating system. The PC should boot to the Acronis USB rescue drive.

I would think you should also be able to initiate a clone in Windows if a licensed version of Acronis is installed on the system disk.

I haven't used Acronis in decades. I now use Aomei Backupper Pro. I've had zero problems: booting to Aomei USB Rescue media to create and restore backup images.

There should be no reason to turn off Secure Boot when using Acronis.

You have a HP Enterprise PC. Does this PC use Wolf Security?

Wolf Security could be the culprit. I'm not familiar with Wolf Security. I don't have a HP Enterprise PC.

This HP Forum Board might be your best option if your PC is using Wolf Security.

I would be interested to see what is causing your problem if you get a solution in the HP Business Forum.
