Product: HP ProOne 400 G2 20-in Non-Tou
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
We have problems with the ProOne 400 G2 Series.
In out company we use Stronglink USB RFID Reader ( Model SL040A). These Reader simulates a normal keyboard, nothing special, no driver needed.
If these readers are connected to an ProOne 400 G2, the system won't boot. Not even the Bios Splash Screens comes up.
- if you disconnect and boot into Bios setup, then connect the reader - the computer freezes
- if you disconnect, boot to windows, then connect the Reader everthing works fine
We are using about 100 of these Reader on several HP Models without any problems. ProOne 400 G1 Series also works fine. But the G2 Series an HP Z240 Workstation do have these problems.
