Computer got unplugged not properly shut down and when I try to power it back on a white light comes on the left hand side of the USB drives on the back and then starts a sequence of long then short beeps. And the screen is black also. What can I do besides power reset b/c that didn't work?

The AIO's may be fixed at times with what maybe called a power reset, as you noted.
Disconnect all accessories except the keyboard and mouse.
Here is what you try, unplug the power cord from the PC and the wall. Press and hold the power on button for 30 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord to the back of the PC and then the wall. Try a power up.
I'm not an HP employee.
