HP All-in-One Desktop PC 27-cr0000a (76M59AV)

Purchased August 2023 from Best Buy.  This computer will not power on; it's completely dead.  I've gone thru all the troubleshooting steps to see if it will reset and power back on.  aI purchased a UPS Battery Backup to protect it from surges and unexpected loss of power.  It's Nov 30th 2024 and I can't believe something is faulty in this computer to not work anymore.  I own an imac from 2017 and Macbook Pro from 2023 and I've never had them die suddenly like this HP.   Please tell me HP will repair or replace a computer from 2023 even though they only give a 1 yr warranty?  I have proof of purchase.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your PC that is not powering on.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I'm here to help you today.

Please follow the below steps to fix the issue.

-Perform a power drain on your PC.

 1) Unplug the power cord from the PC & wall.

2) Disconnect the power cable from the AC adapter if it is a detachable part and keep it aside.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the AC adapter, then connect it to the wall and to the charging port on your PC.

5) Power on the PC and check if it boots into Windows now.

- Kindly refer to the steps on this link to troubleshoot and let me know if that resolves the issue.

I am sorry for the delay.  I will try this once I get back home from the office.

Did your steps 3 separate times.  The computer does NOT power on.   It seems now power is coming from the power cable or ac adapter.
