HP EliteDesk 800 35W G4 Desktop Mini PC (2YH16AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

The PC used to automatically restart after a power failure but now it does not. I have gone into the BIOS and all I can find is 3rd party option ROM management which has no option for restarts. I think I remember that HP had me update the BIOS at some point but I don't remember when. I need this because I have security cameras that I run as a service and need them to come back on after a power failure. Any ideas?

Thanks

Jason

That means many times now and you rely on auto restart. No HDD was moving/spinning when loosing power and that could cause unpredictable damages .

Now is the time to buy new HPP, rebuild your machine and importantly prepare an UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) device.
