does anyone have the bios update .exe file for an mxf74202zq desktop .

Hi:

 

HP retired support for your PC since it is more than 10 years old.

 

This reputable 3rd party website has the drivers and latest BIOS update HP released for that model, which was 5.13.

 

HP Pavilion a6228x drivers (driverscollection.com)

 

I'm thinking by the date of the BIOS update that it was meant to be run on Windows Vista.
