Greetings @cptflemme

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Your PC seems to have done a successful BIOS update. But the PC has lost video out.

And you heard the Windows startup sound. So the PC is also seems to be loading Windows. You must have Windows setup to automatically sign in.

Did you try doing a hard shutdown using the power button or by disconnecting AC power? Then reconnect AC power and start the PC again to see what happens?

Your PC has a very strange problem.

Secure Boot settings can cause video issues after a BIOS update on some UEFI PCs if a graphics card upgrade had been previously done.

Is the PC using a discrete factory installed graphics card (or did you upgrade the graphics card?)? Or is your PC using onboard CPU graphics?

Remove the discrete graphics card, if applicable. Try using onboard CPU graphics if your PC's CPU and MB rear I/O support this.

I don't know what else to suggest if your PC is not having a Secure Boot/discrete graphics card issue.

Regards
