It's possible that your AC adapter is not working. So, the battery is not getting recharged.
After two hours, the battery is discharged, and your computer will not run.
Turn off the computer, and leave it for a few hours, to see if the battery will get recharged when your computer is OFF.
A "blinking" and "yellow" light usually suggests a problem.
Some laptops show "solid yellow" when the battery is charging, but is not fully charged, and then show "solid green" when the battery is fully recharged.
Do you have a friend with a similar AC adapter that you can borrow?
Some computer-stores sell "generic" AC adapters -- and they may let you "test-drive" that adapter, in their store, before you purchase.
