I have an HP OMEN 25L GT12-0040 (Product 9EF19AA#ABA, Board ID 8704). After updating the BIOS to F.29, Secure Boot stopped working. The BIOS reports “The Secure Boot Key Database Is Empty” and “Platform Key: Not Enrolled.” Windows shows Secure Boot State Off. Confirm-SecureBootUEFI returns False and Get-SecureBootUEFI -Name PK reports the variable is undefined. I have already:

  • Loaded HP Factory Default Keys
  • Restored BIOS defaults
  • Performed HP BIOS Recovery from a USB recovery drive
  • Verified UEFI mode and TPM 2.0

After BIOS recovery, Platform Key still shows Not Enrolled and Secure Boot remains Off. How can I restore the Secure Boot PK/KEK/db keys on motherboard 8704?
