trying to reset this pc so they can use it but doing the esc button and then the F11 reset it still ask for a password on the reset please advise

Hi:

 

You can't reset the PC if you don't know the Windows password.

 

I checked the PC's product number on the HP cloud recovery tool database, and it is not supported.

Cloud Recovery (cloud-recovery.s3-website-us-west-1.amazonaws.com)

 

Your only option would be to use the Microsoft media creation tool, create a bootable USB installation flash drive and clean install W10.

 

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

 

After W10 has completed installing you can install the drivers and available software from the PC's support page.
