Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

can I  update a bios if the original operating system is lower than what  I am  currently using ?

EG. ( original software on pc is windows 7 and it was upgraded to windows 10 .)

Im after a bios update as i have just installed a new SSD 

Im trying to do a clean install of windows 10 and thew error im getting is( couldn't update the computers boot configuration!

can this be done ?

If the system already had Windows 10 installed, then it should not be a problem on doing a clean install of Windows 10 using the install media.

Please explain the method you are using and the error you are seeing.
