It ends up with computer beeping after tapping the key and a balck screen, I am not able to acces thru windows neither when using settings->windows update>recovery->restart ... just a black screen ... just got the computer last thursday ... very disappointing.

Hi @Marc-z2

Welcome to the HP Forum.

A specific beep code cadence could be used to possibly identify the problem.

You can use Windows but can't access the BIOS. I have never seen this one before. You might want to post this problem in the

Business PCs, Workstations and Point of Sale Systems board.

Problem solved.

The cause of the problem was connecting to one of the integrated graphical port instead of connecting to one of the dedicated graphical port. Once connected to the dedicated graphical I was able to access the bios.

I also could see a section with device boot option where the dedicated graphical device was set to the dedicated one.

It seems that if there is a dedicated graphical card it will be used automatically.

Makes sense, when you know it, but I could not find any information in documentation and specification that would help me suspect that.

Hi @Marc-z2  ,

Good to see you figured this out.

I gotta say, that is really weird. You could run Windows using integrated graphics but you could not access the BIOS.
