Hello My M2 harddrive has gone to heaven, now i trying to istall windows on an ssd and it wont boot, the ssd drive is a ocz trion 100 any tips on what I can do ? I can find the disc install windows on it. // greetings Arne

What is the error message, if any?  Did the clone operation run successfully?

 

I cloned my 256gb m.2 to a 1tb main drive but my system (at that time) did not have secure boot or TPM enabled.

 

If you have secure boot enabled I suspect it needs to be legacy..  I would not enable TPM or Secure boot feature until system is booting.

If error message is "cannot find operating system" or something like that you will need to boot a recovery disk and use the "startup repair":

the orginal m2 hdd is gone. But i find a old optisc hdd that work well to install windows on. most be something with the sdd, maybe the motherboeard dont support ssd, I will try to boot the ssd in my other pc.  But i rly want it to work on the hp pc ^^

 

I will check the secure boot thing  TBC
