I've bought barebones Elitedesk 800 G4 35W, installed i5 8600k CPU, reduced CPU power to 75% in Windows, installed CPU temperature monitor. Machine works like a breeze, no overheating but on every boot I am getting error 901 - Chassis Fan Not Detected (Rear) while this machine does not have one at all. Bios is updated to the latest version. Is there an option to disable this silly warning?

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!
Background: I have upgraded an HP EliteDesk 800 G4 65W DM, similar to yours: Solved: Upgrading an HP EliteDesk 800 65W G4 Desktop Mini (DM) - HP Support Community - 8708671, and what I wonder -since your DM is equipped with two cooling fans, it may be that one of the fans (likely the "HDDFAN") may have malfunctioned, is blocked or is not plugged in, please check.
Kind Regards,
