This can happen after a power failure. It can also occur when memory is removed or added. It can also happen if the coin battery had gone dead due to the system being unplugged for a long time.
Press DEL or F10 and go into the BIOS setup. If the date has changed, then put in the correct date and time. Verify the memory has not changed. The boot sequence should show "windows boot manager" if running windows. Make sure that ""post messages" are enabled. If there is an option to allow a time delay set the post message to 2 or more seconds. You may need to make additional changes to the BIOS and if the boot is too fast it will be difficult to get back into the BIOS setup.
Be sure to save changes when exiting the BIOS setup. If it happens again then replace the battery.
