hello my hp laptop is not responding after a bios update which was recommended for me by hp the PC keeps on restarting with a cursor icon at the upper left corner. I had a bios password on before the update could that be the cause and can I please have a solution to this problem I am so confused

After powering on, tap the ESC key and
- Run diagnostics at least one pass
- get into the BIOS and ensure the boot order includes Windows Boot Manager
