Hi @collagecomputer,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP All-in-One 24-cr1000i is freezing frequently on Windows 11, and previous troubleshooting hasn’t resolved the issue. Let’s go step by step to get this fixed.

Detailed Troubleshooting Steps:

Check for Windows Updates:

Go to Settings → Windows Update → Check for updates and install all pending updates.

Restart your PC after updates.

Update Drivers:

Press Win + X → Device Manager.

Update drivers for Display Adapters, Chipset, Network, and Storage Controllers.

Alternatively, download the latest drivers from the HP Support page for your model.

Check for Disk Errors:

Open Command Prompt as administrator.

Run chkdsk /f /r and follow prompts.

Restart your PC to allow disk check to complete.

Scan for Malware:

Use Windows Defender or a trusted antivirus to run a full system scan.

Check System Resources:

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.

Check for high CPU, memory, or disk usage. Identify apps causing freezing and uninstall or update them.

Run System File Checker:

Open Command Prompt as administrator.

Run sfc /scannow to repair corrupted system files.

Perform a Clean Boot:

Press Win + R → msconfig → Services → Hide all Microsoft services → Disable all.

Restart PC and check if freezing persists.

If resolved, enable services one by one to find the culprit.

Consider HP Hardware Diagnostics:

Restart the PC and press Esc → F2 to enter HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.

Run Memory Test, Hard Drive Test, and System Tests to identify hardware issues.

I hope this helps.
