My computer will not turn on. It is not the screen and when I press the on button, I can hear the fan.

Hi,

I can only provide suggestions based on the information provided.

Do you have a EliteOne 800 G1 All In One, or a Desktop, or a Point of Sale Terminal?

You hear a fan but have no video output. This could be caused by a number of hardware issues.

Some of these systems have either integrated Intel graphics or mobile AMD graphics. Some products have discrete AMD or Nvidia graphics.

So you could have a graphics problem if discrete graphics is involved or a motherboard problem if your PC has integrated graphics. It is also possible the power supply is the issue? All in One PC's have an external power supply.

Not enough information is available to assist. I would think you have a hardware problem.

You can't exclude other hardware such as RAM. I think the system has to be examined by HP if in warranty or a local PC tech.

Regards
