When I turn on my HP desktop computer, it only goes as far as displaying the HP logo in the middle of the screen and does not load any further than that.

Hi @ghbail3rd 

 

test the disk, when turning on the device press the F2 key several times, then select the disk, run the test and check if it passes or has a failure ID.
