SPECTRE ONE 23-e000ez
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On start-up, the error message appears immediately : 511 - cpu fan not detected. Press F1 to boot.By pressing F1 the system boot normally is fully operational.

I have open the PC, remoded the fan and tested it. The fan works 100% ok

Is there a solution ?

Welcome to the HP support community.

Use a can of compressed air to clean out all of the dust from all fans in the PC.  With the side panel off, power on the PC and again observe the fan rotational speed.

Run an Extensive system test to check for hardware failures.

1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.

4. Click Extensive Test.

5. Click Run once, or Loop until error. While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component are shown on the screen.

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.

Hi,
The "solution" proposed by the HP specialist is totally not working. I have said that the fan works properly. It is the Hardware diagnostic system that needs to be corrected, upgraded but HP has no willingness to repair such issue. And all the manipulations already proposed are useless !

I need a solution has the PC itself is running nicely just this fan error is extremely annoying !

Thanks in advance and regards,
