facial recognition this option is currently not available We couldn't find a camera compatible with Windows Hello Face

The camera - any camera - is an optional purchase with this Zbook.

I would guess that even if the Workstation has a camera that it is not an IR camera.

Search the document for other references using keyboard Camera

 

If your system has a camera,

Windows Hello / Facial Recognition requires an IR type camera.

If your Device Manager lists the camera and the camera is a type IR,

then you can use Facial Recognition

Webcam / Camera

 

Windows Hello facial recognition requires an IR type camera.

 

 Device Manager > Cameras

Drivers & Software

 

First,

Check the Device Manager for the necessary hardware:

Fingerprint Sensor

IR Camera - Used with Windows Facial Recognition.

 

Next,

Sign into your computer's support website.

Open Category Software & Drivers

Click on Go to our Software and Drivers self-service page

If needful, select your Operating System / Version and click Submit

Open + All Drivers

Open All

 

The fingerprint sensor driver and / or camera driver - when available - is located in

 Sub-Category Driver-Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices

I don't have cameras category I don't know that I have IR camera or not.

Check the User Guide > Page 7 > Item #5

If your computer does not have a camera,

There is no camera -- not plain camera and not IR camera.

 

If there were a camera installed in the computer,

and

If the Device Manager did list either the camera or a Webcam

and

The description of that camera or webcam would tell you whether the camera is an IR.
