screen reads: The operating system did not shut down cleanly. Reconstructing cahe metadata..... failed to read packed metadata! ....press esc to continue. totally unresponsive. power off and does nothing. i did the suggested repetitive "esc" on startup and ran extensive diagnostic all systems passed inspection....
