I have partionned my drive; one partition for windows, the other for Ubuntu 20.04.
Then I run the installer for Ubuntu on the partition created.
The installer deploys GRUB and run it.
However GRUB does not work as expected:
It displays the two options: Windows 11 and Ubuntu 20.04 which is OK.
However the arrows cannot be used to select one option or the other.
When using the 'down' arrow the cursor goes down one line but goes up immeditely to the first line.
I used a different Keyboard (a USB one), but experienced the same issue.
Previously I tested Ubuntu deployment on top of VMWARE and it worked pefectly fine. No keyboard issue, no display issue.
Some help would be greatly apreciated.

I suspect the keyboard is not recognized because there is no OS installed yet when using the Grub boot menu. Its similar to being in the BIOS. The USB drivers might not see the keyboard if it happens to be plugged into a USB 3.0 port. If you can find the USB 2.0 ports that might be OK. I do not see any however.
I'm not an HP employee.
