when starting my HP Desktop PC it fails to boot, just the HP Logo is displayed but nothing else happens

the HP diagnosis tool tells that the hard disk is defect but this disk is ok and works with another pc

hence I would like to restore a good BIOS hoping that will fix this problem

but how do I get a file to create a flash usb to restore the BIOS on my PC?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

 

I understand you're experiencing an issue with performing a recovery on your PC/Laptop.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I'm here to help you today.

 

Please follow the steps below to perform an extensive system test to confirm if the hardware is working fine.

 

1) Shut down the computer.

2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.  

3) Press F2 once.  

4) Go to the system test > extensive test

 

If the hardware is working fine. Click on this link to perform a recovery on your Laptop.  (Take a backup of the data before performing a recovery)
